Former Innisfil Lakers goalie and GMHL Alumni Clint Windsor has signed an ATO ( Amateur Try Out) Contract with the Toronto Marlies.

Windsor, the 1993 born goalie from Hamilton Ontario, was announced to have signed on Tuesday morning as per the official twitter page of the Toronto Marlies

Windsor started his junior hockey career in the GMHL playing with the Innisfil Lakers during the 2009-2010 season, where the 6'3 goalie posted stellar numbers to the tune of a GAA under 5 in the goal heavy environment and a .891 Save percentage in 15 games for the now defunct Lakers franchise.

Following his GMHL career Windsor had a brief stint in the OJHL with Collingwood, he had a very successful Major Junior career playing in the OHL for the Barrie Colts, Saginaw Spirit, Mississauga Steelheads, and Ottawa 67's franchises appearing in 100 OHL games during that span and building a reputation as an elite netminder.

Windsor then proceeded to play at an all star level in the MJAHL with the Miramichi Timberwolves being named to the 1st All star team league wide.

For the past 3 years Clint has been playing high level CIS hockey for the Brock Badgers where this year he posted career bests in GAA (2.33) and Save Percentage (.945) during his 12 games with Brock.

As a GMHL Alumni we wish Clint the best of luck in his hockey future and hope that the Toronto Marlies franchise treats you right.
