Week in Review - Week 8:

The first place Civics stayed on top this week picking up wins against Temiscaming and West Nippissing, while the second place Parry Sound Islanders stayed hot on their heels also putting two more in the win column. Fourth place Almaguin stayed hot extending their win streak to six games over the weekend, while the struggles in Wiarton continued as they have now lost their last 8 games in a row.

In the South Kingsville and London are both perched atop the division with 27 points, Kingsville gets the advantage due to games at hand. The Kings have now won their last 11 in a row. The Niagara Whalers and North York Renegades remain at only one loss a piece, while the Toronto Attack have managed to reel off 6 straight victories. Looking to get back on track in the South are newcomers Lincoln and Northumberland, who are hoping to snap skids of 8 and 7 games respectively

The game of the week happened live in London between the Lakers and the visiting North York club. A 4-3 OT Win for the Renegades might not have looked like a goaltenders matchup at face value, but was it ever. Even with the loss, the first star of the game went to London goalie Raymond "Ray Ray" Smith. Evan Purdy, the October goalie of the month, added 30 saves of his own and it was Joe Taylor who ripped home the OT winner on the powerplay for the Renegades.
