Seguin Huskies forward Alexandre Sode has committed to play at Adrian College (ACHA) for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.

Sode, the French 1997 born forward, will be joining the Bulldogs after his only season spent with the Huskies showed the type of skilled forward he was. Sode put up 32 Points (9G, 23A) in 34 games for just under a point per game average for the competitive Huskies Franchise.

The Huskies had this to say about their young forward, " Alex is a very hard working and dedicated individual and we are happy to see him moving on to the next phase of his hockey and academic career. We wish Alex the best of luck in his future!"

Head Coach Neal Burgess was joyed to see one of his players taking the next step, “I am happy and excited to see Alex has committed to Adrian College. He is fully committed to being successful on and off the ice. It is great to see his hard work paying off.”

Prior to his time in Seguin the 6 foot Sode split his time playing U-18 hockey in his native France and playing in the United States High School (USHS) league where he had 13 points playing for Wyoming Seminary

Adrian College Coach Gary Astalos offered this on the newest addition to his program, “We are very happy to have Alex commit to the ACHA hockey program here at Adrian College. Alex is an excellent hockey player who is also committed to his studies; we look forward to having him on the ice this Fall.”

The GMHL wishes you the best of luck next year at Adrian College, a school that has been providing opportunities to GMHL alum for years now.
