GMHL Expands to Niagara-On-The-LakeJuly 30th, 2018 at 10:16AM July 30th, 2018 3:19PM
Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario- The GMHL League President Bob Russell is proud to announce the expansion to Niagara-On-The-Lake as the newest member of the GMHL and specifically, the GMHL South Division. The Niagara-On-The-Lake (NOTL) Nationals will play out of the Meridian Credit Union Arena.
The NOTL Nationals Owner, Spencer De Wolfe, gave a statement about teams expansion to the GMHL: “We made the move to the GMHL so that we could assure our players a consistent, high-level of competition amongst a league that has been established for 12 Years in Canada.” The GMHL now has 23 Organizations, and has a consistent track record of high quality hockey that players have come to expect, as well as a documented track record of moving players on to the next level, whether it’s Tier 1 Junior, Major Juniors, University, or Professional Hockey. The GMHL also offers more options for players born between the years 1997-2002 with less limitations to join the league, and also offers more options for import players from the USA, Europe, and other parts of the world to participate.
The GMHL is happy that the NOTL Nationals have joined the league, and we wish #NatsNation the best of luck in their inaugural season! For more details on the Nationals, including updates about their signings, schedule, and camps, go to their website at http://www.notlnationals.com/
