TWO LUMBERJACKS HEADED TO ALL-STAR GAME

The Sturgeon Falls Lumberjacks will be represented by two players during the GMHL all-star game which will take place January 15th in Caledon ON. Forward Michel Dumont and defenseman Zane Pitawanakwat will both play for the North American team which will take on Team World at the annual game. Good luck to both!

JACKS BEGIN NEW YEAR WITH 4 GAMES IN 4 NIGHTS! ROUGH START WITH LOSS TO ALGOMA!

The Lumberjacks traveled to Thessalon last night to take on the improving Avalanche from Algoma, and watched the Av's score 3 times in 8 minutes in the third to fall behind 4-2, and come  away with a tough 4-3 loss.

Things don't get easier for the Jacks as they continue with 3 more games in the next 3 days, hosting 2nd overall South Muskoka this evening and the Shelburne Red Wings tomorrow night, before heading South to Powassan on Sunday to play an afternoon tilt with their nearest rival, the Dragons.
