The Elliot Lake Bobcats continue their undefeated season by beating the Deseronto Storm (7-3) on Friday September 30th at Centennial Arena in Elliot Lake.

The Bobcats came out of the 1st period leading 2-0 with goals by Andrej Stefancik (Nik Humar, Gustaf Skoog) and Erik Lingvide (Cale Schoenberg, John Waghorne).

The 2nd period the Deseronto Storm came back with two early goals by Andrew Bobas and a late period goal by Bruce Cada.  However, before the end of the period, Bobcat player Cale Schoenberg scored a goal to tie the game 3-3 going into the 3rd period.

The 3rd period was owned by the Bobcats as they broke the tie early and extended their lead to 7-3, with goals by Lukas Potocek (unassisted), Andrej Stefancik (Nik Humar, Gustaf Skoog), Andrej Stefancik (Jumpei Suzuki, Nik Humar) and Nik Humar (Jumpei Suzuki, Andrej Stefancik).

Bobcats goalie Pavlo Borko had a total of 32 SV and a .914 SV%.

The Bobcats will play again on October 7th at Centennial Arena in Elliot Lake against the Temiscaming Titans at 7:30PM.  Both teams are currently undefeated this season!
