We are pleased to announce a new membership to the GMHL for the upcoming 2024/2025 season in Wasaga Beach. The yet-to-be-named team will be playing their home games out of the brand new Wasaga Stars Arena at 544 River Road West in Wasaga Beach.

The Ownership and Staff comes with great experience after successfully operating the Bradford Bulls GMHL club for 6 seasons. During this time the Bulls have had a regular season record of 126-62-13, and a playoff appearance each season with trips to both the North Division Finals and South Division Finals. 

The new Wasaga Beach expansion club will ice a competitive team constructed of many local players that will have a strong focus on player development and advancement to the College and Pro Hockey ranks.

The Town of Wasaga Beach will host the Towns first GMHL hockey game at the new Wasaga Stars Arena on February 12, 2024 at 7pm, as The Bradford Bulls will face off against The Meaford Knights. During the game the Town will host a Name the Team Contest. The winner will receive two season tickets for the inaugural season.
