DESERONTO, ON - The Toronto-Canada Moose were in Deseronto on Friday night for one of the remaining regular season home games. The Storm were quiet but successful in the first. They only scored one goal. Todd Munden got the goal while Tyler Poole and Brad Edwards helped. The Storm were up by one after one.
Early in the second period Cody Maracle was tripped on a breakaway and received a penalty shot. Maracle was successful, increasing the lead to two. Moments later Deseronto got their third. It was a double dose of Brad as Brad Edwards scored and Captain Brad Clark got the assist. Clark would then go and add a goal just over 10 minutes later assisted by Cody Maracle and Cam Edwards.
The Storm were all scored out after forty minutes because they wouldn’t get one in the third. Toronto got one though on the power play to make the final score 4-1.
The Storm have two regular season home games remaining. One next Friday, February 13th as the Bradford Rattlers are in town. Then on Friday, February 20th with Sam’s Windows and Doors as the Game Night Sponsor against the Oro-Medonte 77’s it’s Fan Appreciation Night, only $4 entry for all ages and a Silent Auction.
