Bradford, Ontario- The GMHL is proud to release its choices for Players of the Month for the month of November. To recap, last months Players of the Month for the month of October were Ivan Bondarenko of the Tillsonburg Hurricanes (Forward), Trevor Costello of the Tottenham Steam (Defence), Trevor Babin of the Bradford Rattlers (Goalie), and Santino Foti of the North York Renegades (Rookie). Now here are the Players of the Month for November.

Forward – Anthony Mota (St. George Ravens)

St. George Ravens forward Anthony Mota has been a driving force for his team. So far he has put up 29 Goals (1st on team & 5th in league), 37 Assists (1st on team & 3rd in league), and 66 Points (1st on team & T-2nd in league). Needless to say he has been a high-end asset for the Ravens squad. The Ravens themselves have been on a hot streak lately and Mota has been a huge part of their success. In just the past month the Ravens have taken a strangle hold on the South Division, going undefeated in the month of November, and taking over 1st in the South.

Defence – Dayton Murray (Temiscaming Titans)

Dayton Murray is in his sixth year of junior hockey, and is in his fifth year in the GMHL, bringing a lot of experience to the Temiscaming Titans. Murray has been consistent in his time in the GMHL and has an incredible resume that includes a Russell Cup Championship with the Titans in 2014-2015, and playing time in the OHL for the North Bay Battalion. Murray has to be a high-end asset for the Titans, and has been named captain of the team for this season. Murray has helped the Titans rise to third in the North Division, going 8-2-0 in the month of November. The Titans hope that Murray will continue to lead the Titans higher up in the standings.

Goalie – Brock Makolz (New Tecumseth Civics)

Brock Makolz is in his first year of junior hockey, but he has already taken over the starting job for the New Tecumseth Civics. Makolz is considered one of the best young goalies in the league and despite his statistics, has been a very big part of the Civics team. Makolz has been a big part of some important wins for the Civics in the month of November, including a win against Ville-Marie, snapping their 14 Game Win Streak, and earning first star, as well as a win against the Bradford Rattlers, snapping their 12 Game Win Streak, and earning the first star in that game as well. As a young goalie, the Civics are hoping that Brock will continue to develop and become one of the top goalies in the league.

Rookie – Brayden Morris (Bradford Rattlers)

The rookie of the month goes to first year junior player Brayden Morris of the Bradford Rattlers. Morris has been on fire for the Rattlers and has been an integral part of their tremendous play this month, which included a 12 Game win streak, and giving the Rattlers the best Win % in the league. Morris so far has 34 Goals 14 Assists for 48 Points in 20 Games so far and is 2nd in the league in Goals. In the month of November has had multiple four-goal games to help elevate him into 2nd place in Goals. The Rattlers are hoping that Morris can continue his pace of play and can continue to be one of their top forwards.
