Durham Faces the North, Temiscaming in Meaford, St. George Fights to keep their Streak Alive

Lets take a look at whats happening across the GMHL this week

This week in the GMHL is filled with action across all our three divisions. Teams are trying to maintain their win streaks and others are trying to snap out of their losing streaks. So far, each division have delivered fun battles near the top of the standings. In the North, there is Ville-Marie (1st), Bradford (2nd), and Temiscaming (3rd) that are fighting for first place in the league. Respectively, they each have 31, 27, 25 points in the standings. In the South, although North York is starting to run away with 36 points in the standings for first place. The Bulls (2nd) and the Roadrunners (3rd) are not far behind with 28 and 26 points in the standings with some games in hand on the Renegades. In the West, the powerful High Prairie Red Wings are alone at the top with 19 wins for 38 points in the standings. The battle for second place is getting interesting with the Tomahawks (2nd) with 27 points, Edson (3rd) with 25 points and the Mountaineers (4th) with 18 points while only having played half the games that the second and third place teams have played.

This week the Roadrunners will be facing the North Division Bancroft Rockhounds on Monday November 21st.

The Bulls will be hosting the Northumberland Stars on Wednesday November 23rd.

On Thursday the Meaford Knights will be hosting the Temiscaming Titans in hopes of putting an end to their losing streak. The 7-6-0-0 had started the year with a 5-0-0-0 record and will look to get back on track while counting on Tomas Coupek, Adam Poach and Declan Flanagan.

Friday night in the GMHL will see:

The North division will see the South Muskoka Shield host the Rockhounds, and the Ville-Marie Pirates host, for the first time this season, the Bradford Rattlers. The South division will see in Niagara, the Predators host the St. George Ravens, and the Northumberland Stars will host the Roadrunners. The West division will see the Red Wings host the Fox Creek Ice Kings, the Slave Lake Ice Dogs will host the Edson Eagles, and the Mountaineers will host the Burns Lake Timberman.

Saturday night in the GMHL will see:

The North division will have the Knights visit the Rockhounds in Bancroft, the Shield will be getting a taste of the South division by hosting the Bradford Bulls, and the Titans will be hosting the Rattlers. In the South division, The Windsor Aces faces the first place Renegades. While the St. George Ravens will travel to Tottenham to face the Thunder. The Streetsville Flyers will be doing battle, at home, versus the Roadrunners. In the West division, the Ice Kings will be facing the Tomahawks, the Pioneers face the Ice Dogs, the Timbermen and the Steel Kings will be battling for the first win of their season, and the Eagles will play the Red Wings.

Sunday night in the GMHL will see:

The North divison will see the Knights face off with the Pirates, and the Bradford Rattlers versus the the West Nipissing Lynx. The South division will see the Ravens and the Thunder again, while the Aces will host the Flyers.
