The GMHL will be profiling one prospect per month for the duration of the season to highlight a 2001/2002 born player who while not eligible for rookie of the month honors (2003 born and younger) are using this season to develop into a high quality prospect for their future hockey careers. This month we will be focusing on Knights forward Felix Lecomte

Lecomte, the 2002 born Warwick, Quebec native is currently tied for the lead among U18 players in the league in scoring with 34 Points (17G, 17A) in 34 games this season. He leads the Knights in scoring, quite the feat for the forward playing his first full season of junior hockey. Lecomte has also converted 6 times on the power play, once while shorthanded and collected only 14 Penalty minutes this year.

Following his bantam hockey career, Lecomte played 3 seasons in the QMEAA scoring 22 points in 34 games, and receiving a call up to the Princeville Titans last season where he appeared in 11 games for the Junior A franchise and contributed with a goal.
