October was a busy month in the GMHL, with teams settling into the routine of the season.

The October Team Power Rankings has been released. As teams settle into the routine the season, some teams are excelling and climbing the rankings while others are stumbling after hot starts.
The St George Ravens remain the top seed of the Greater Metro Junior Hockey League, with another strong month. The surging South Muskoka Shield, who were unranked during September, have climbed through the month of October to be rated fourth.
