Bobcats hold off King Wild!

The Elliot Lake Bobcats headed into the Christmas Break on a fine note. Friday night the Bobcats came out in great fashion potting four goals in the first period. The second period was back and fourth which each team was playing hard. The third period was a period that saw lots of hits and two goals scored by the Wild 3 minutes apart half way through the 3rd period. The score ended 4-2 for the Bobcats who played strong from start to finish but had a hard time putting the puck past Wild\'s goaltender once settled in. Shane Buckley stood tall for the Cats and kept the puck out of the Bobcats goal after the Bobcats took many retaliation penalties and spent most of the second half of the 3rd period in the sin bin as the Wild found away to get under the Bobcats skin.
