The Deseronto Storm looked to close out their Best-of-five Division Semi-Finals with the Bradford Rattlers at home Tuesday night. Bradford opened up the scoring with two in the first. Kyle Blohm slipped one past Travis Elvin for the first one and Adam Parker scored the second one and the rattlers took the 2-nothing lead into the first intermission.

The second was fairly quiet until Deseronto scored with four minutes remaining. Captain Brad Clark got the goal assisted by Josh Fontana and Jeff Morris. Any thoughts of comeback were short lived though when Sam Odell scored for the Rattlers just over a minute later. Then Deseronto got into penalty trouble Andrew Bobas and Josh Fontana both got two minutes while Clark got a double. Sam Odell would score his second of the night on the 5-on-3 to go ahead 4-1 after forty minutes.

The third was Deseronto’s last chance to impress the home crowd and they couldn’t pull it off. The only goal in the third came from Sam Odell who completed the hat-trick on a shorthanded marker at 7:40 of the third. Bradford went on to 5-1. The Storm now must pull off another win in Bradford or their season is over.
