Sunday October 23rd, the Bradford Rattlers will host, for the second time this season, the Ville-Marie Pirates.
Last time these two rivals faced each other, it was the Rattlers that came on top with a 6-0 win. That game saw the Rattlers outshoot the Pirates 36-31 and a top form goaltending performance by Rattlers goaltender Zane Clausen.
Since their last matchup, the visiting Pirates have won 7-0 versus the West Nipissing Lynx, 4-3 and 10-3 versus the Temiscaming Titans and lost their last game versus the West Nipissing Lynx 6-5 in overtime. During that stretch, the team was able to count on production from #5 Etienne Bourque (4GP-1G-5A-6P), #8 Jordan Riviere (4GP-3G-8A-11P), #9 Olivier Lamothe (4GP-3G-6A-9P), and #27 Jordan Briere (3GP-5G-6A-11P). Before their game versus the Rattlers, the Pirates will be doing battle in Gravenhurst Ontario with the South Muskoka Shield.
After their 6-0 win over the Pirates, the Rattlers continued their offensive explosion with a 10-1 versus the Bancroft Rockhounds and a 10-4 win versus the South Muskoka Shield. In two games, the Rattlers were able to rely on #8 Jesper Eriksson (3G-3A-6P), #12 Swen Meusy (1G-5A-6P), #14 Stepan Levitskiy (3G-4A-7P), #20 Hunter Godmere (4G-5A-9P), and #91 Jacob Rhodin (3G-3A-6P).
