Former Renegades Player Signs with USports Waterloo Warriors

The focus of the GMHL is to give players the opportunity to play at the next level. With a growing player advancement, the league will continue to exhibit the talents that are produced within the league and that move on to higher levels.
Our Alumni Spotlight segment continues with the former North York Renegades player Christian D’Amico. It was announced to us that Christian made the Waterloo Warriors hockey team roster where he will be pursuing his studies in the Waterloo University Arts program.
D’Amico, 22, played in the GMHL for 2 seasons after playing U15 with the Vaughan Kings AAA team in the GTHL. In 78 games played, Christian scored 43 goals and produced 59 assists for 102 points. In two playoffs appearances, he played 16 games scoring 9 goals and 3 assists for 12 points.
The University is based out of Waterloo Ontario and operates the largest post-secondary co-operative education program in the world. The hockey team competes in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) division of the USports league.
