Last week, the GMHL saw its players perform at a top level once again. They provided exciting games that demonstrated the top talent that is in our league. Multiple players have played well enough to deserve a star of the week. However, this week, the three stars go to Bradford Bulls forward Ryan Hunter, Meaford Knights player Tomas Coupek, and Edson Eagles forward Jesse Swanson.

1st Star:

Ryan exploded last week with a 15 point production. In three games, the Bulls forward scored 5 goals and 10 assists. This brings his season totals to 36 goals and 55 assists for 91 points in 31 games.

2nd Star:

Tomas contributed to his team by scoring 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points in 4 games. This weeks’ performance brings his season totals to 27 goals and 26 assists for 53 points in 26 games.

3rd Star:

Jesse helped the Eagles this week by producing 6 goals and 3 assists in 2 games. His production bring his season totals to 36 goals and 32 assists for 68 points in 16 games.

Honourable mentions go to Stepan Levitskiy of the Bradford Rattlers who posted 2 goals and 7 assists for 9 points in 3 games. As well as North York Renegades’ Joseph Lionti who scored a hat-trick and an assist in his teams’ only game played. Ryan Howe of the Bradford Bulls also earned an honourable mention posting 6 goals and 5 assists for 11 points in 3 games. In the Guest division, Kyler Steinhauer-Morin of the Northern Alberta Tomahawks earned an honourable mention with 1 goal and 8 assists for 9 points in 2 games this week.
