The GMHL would like to recognize Zander Muller of the Bancroft Rockhounds. Zander is representing the Republic of South Africa in the U20 IIHF World Championships in Istanbul. Zander has joined the Rockhounds this season and has played 29 games in the GMHL. The forward has 2 points in the GMHL along with 17 penalty minutes.

The Republic of South Africa currently ranks 51st in Men’s Hockey and 37th in Women’s Hockey. Zander wears #15 for his country and is at his second appearance of the U20 IIHF World Championships. Last year, he posted 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points in 5 games. So far in this years tournament, Zander played 1 game and scored his teams only goal in a loss to Israel. His teams upcoming games are January 27th vs Turkey and January 29th vs Bulgaria.
