The GMHL players performed at a top level last week. Providing exciting games that displayed the top end talent that is in our league. Every week, multiple players deserve a star of the week. However, this week, the honours go to Oliver Balazs of the Bradford Rattlers in the North Division, Ryan Fritz of the North York Renegades in the South Division, and Keegan Ferguson of the High Prairie Red Wings in the West Division.

1st Star:

Oliver was in net for the Bradford Rattlers in the Battle of Bradford on Sunday. In that game, he faced 46 shots and stopped 44 of them, including a penalty shot. This brings his numbers to 2.21 GAA, a .932 save percentage, and 3 shutouts on the season.

2nd Star:

Ryan continues to perform at the top level as he posted 3 goals and 7 assists for 10 points in 2 games this weekend. This brings his season totals to 42 goals, 74 assists for 116 points in 34 games.

3rd Star:

Keegan continues to be a force in the Ouest as he posted 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points in 2 games for the Red Wings. This brings his season totals to 33 goals, 53 assists for 86 points in 27 games.

Honourable mentions go to Matthias Weistche who scored 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points in 2 games. Bo Stevenson of the Northumberland Stars who posted 7 assists in 2 games. Cameron Savoie of the Niagara Predators who posted 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points in 2 games. Ryan Hunter for the Bradford Bulls who posted 6 goals and 1 assist for 7 points in 3 games.
