The Slave Lake Icedogs are proud to announce that Gregg Kennedy has been named the Head Coach and General Manager. Gregg brings with him 40 years experience in almost every facet of the game, most notably as a successful coach, program builder and media personality. Kennedy coached successfully at the AAA program throughout Ontario and brings Jr A experience from 3 different teams over his career. He has also coached at the University level at York and Carelton. He rounds out his hockey resume with many successful former and current high level instructor, public speaking, and media positions. He is currently the co-host of the Sens Nation Podcast, and the former co-host of Grassroots-The Minor Hockey Show on TSN Radio Ottawa. Coach Kennedy will no doubt use his ability to attract, develop and promote players within the Icedog program to make an already successful franchise even moreso.
