On Sunday September 18th, the Temiscaming Titans will host rivals Ville-Marie Pirates.

Last year, the Titans finished first in the North Division with a 36-2-0-0 record. The most potent offence in the league had 253 goals which helped the team capture their 2nd Russel cup trophy. The National Championship hosts will look to prove that they will be a force to be reckoned with again this season.

Returning players for the Titans include goaltender Eloi Bouchard, forwards Felix Laniel and Nathan Hardy, as well as defensemen Jerry Mongrain and Emile Lavallée. Last year’s playoffs winners can also count on the returns of players Austin Presseault, Massimo Doyle, Christophe Laniel, Nico Grégoire, and Christopher Fanfan.

The Pirates finished 5th in the North Division with a 21-14-0-3 record. They will try to make their way back at the top of the North Division like they did in 2019-2020, where they finished in 2nd place, trailing the first place Titans by 6 points.

Returning players for the Pirates include top point getter last season Jordan Rivière, forwards Olivier Lamothe, Jordan Rochon, Jonathan Girard, Benoit Cousineau-Marcoux, Alex Gélinas, and Matis Chartier. As well as defensemen Etienne Bourque, Olivier Boucher, Taylor-Jay Swallow, Gabriel Therrien, and Goaltender Emile Beausoleil.

Make sure to make your way at Le Centre Temiscaming to watch the Quebec rivalry renew itself once again.
